Dear St. Luke Community, As we wrap up our first quarter, we are so excited at the level of commitment and progress we have made together. Although things are quite different, our dedication to maintaining high standards remains the same. Next week is the last week before report cards are run. Please look over your child’s grades on Renweb and hold them accountable for the work they are missing. By showing the importance of completing their assignments by making them go back and complete what is missing will send the shared message that what they are doing is worthwhile and valuable. An important message indeed!
Second quarter will bring some changes as we raise our expectations. Middle school will expect students to be on time to class, whether on site or distant. We want all of our learners to practice punctuality and responsibility. As we continue to build our community, the platform of respect and accountability must remain loud to our preteens and teens. These are the ways St. Luke Rebels learn how to be successful not only academically, but in life. As we move into the holidays, let’s remain vigilant to avoid catching any illnesses. We appreciate how proactive our community is being about keeping children home with symptoms. We are committed to continue to provide an easy avenue to transition to distance learning, should the need arise. Please stay current through the flu season on how to switch to distance learning. Let’s be careful not to drop our guard. Although our Covid 19 numbers are getting better, they were better in other countries, too. Some countries dropped their guards, and numbers went back up. Let’s do our part to end this pandemic by doing our three W’s; wash your hands frequently, wear your mask, and watch your distance. Stay safe, Rebels!
Thank you for your continued commitment to a Catholic School education. Together we can create the next generation of leaders! Rebel Strong!

Health Reminder from Nurse Alana We are blessed to have such an amazing community here at St. Luke’s, and it is essential to keep our students and staff as safe as possible. As we take all necessary precautions to avoid the spread of Covid-19 we are asking for everyone's participation in order to achieve this level of safety. We are kindly reminding everyone to please keep their child home if they are experiencing any symptoms of an illness. Parents should also remember to keep students home if you or any member of your household are not feeling well or are experiencing any symptoms of an illness.

Join us for the St. Luke Fun Run! Come elebrate Catholic education by raising money for our school at the St. Luke Fun Run on Saturday, October 17, any time between 8 AM and 12 noon. We’re partnering with Hope for the Future’s annual Run with a Mission 5K, which is being held virtually this year. Because we can’t run or walk in the neighborhood like we did last year, we’re setting up a giant, family-friendly obstacle course that will occupy the entire parking lot on the church side of the school. There will be plenty of different challenges that are suitable for all ages. We’ll also have lots of photo opportunities, so that you can promote St. Luke on social media. To register, please use the following link: https://www.givecentral.org/appeals-form-registration/acp5f241860ef15f/user/guest. All monies come back to St. Luke. Please help support our school, and have lots of fun at the same time!
