The Domestic Church
There are some great saints to celebrate in the month of November including St. Gertrude. You have her prayer card. Please continue to pray for the release of Holy Souls in Purgatory. Another awesome saint is St. Cecilia, patron saint of musicians. We put together a full sheet of things you can do with your family for her feast day on Monday, November 22. Be inspired by a saint who said: Arise, soldiers of Christ, throw away the works of darkness and put on the Armor of light.”
Thank you for making our Thanksgiving Food Drive
a huge success!
Our heartfelt thanks to everyone who donated to our annual Thanksgiving Food Drive! Our community donated over 1,400 food items and numerous gift cards which will be used by families in need.
A special thank you to Mrs. Albor and the Beta Club for coordinating our school-wide food drive and delivering the donations to St. Luke’s St. Vincent de Paul food pantry.
Thank you, 2nd grade, for leading our Thanksgiving Mass.
PreK and Kinder Celebrate Thanksgiving
Early with Pie Tastings
PreK and Kinder students celebrated Thanksgiving with Pie Tasting activities. Both classes did a math activity along with their pie tasting. PreK made a graph of their favorite pies. Kinder classes predicted their favorite, tasted the different pies, and tallied the results.
