The first full week of the New Year brings a strong sense of community, prayer, and blessings at St. Luke’s.
Community-- as we return to school looking out for the wellbeing of each other.
Prayer-- as we Chalk the Doors of our homes for protection, on the Feast of the Epiphany.
Blessings-- as we look towards every new day with hope, humility, and gratitude.
In the Catholic Liturgical calendar, we honor the Holy Name of Jesus in the month of January. Let us continue this month to do everything through Jesus, in Jesus, and always in his Holy Name.

St. Luke will be hosting a career day the morning of Friday, February 4, 2022, during Catholic Schools Week. We are excited to be offering this experience to our entire student body. We are extending an invitation to parents who would like to make this day as fulfilling as possible.
Parent volunteers are needed to talk to our Pre-K 4 - 8th grade students about career choices and the kind of steps that must be taken in order to gain access into chosen careers. This will be a wonderful opportunity for our students to be introduced to the variety of careers that are available in our job market, and it will help them to begin to develop a plan for future endorsement studies in high school. (Endorsements consist of a related series of courses that are grouped together by interest or skill set: STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics), Business and Industry, Public Service, Arts and Humanities, and Multidisciplinary Studies).
If you are interested in being a presenter, please email Ms. Quintanilla and/or Mrs. Gonzalez at [email protected] and [email protected] and provide us with the following information: details about your career and grade(s) you prefer to present to (early childhood, elementary, middle school).
Each speaker will give a 10-15-minute presentation. Speakers will be provided with an outline to follow in preparing your presentation. Thank you for your support of our school’s efforts to teach and guide students toward successful career choices.
Thank you, St. Luke Counseling Team
It was a beautiful week at St. Luke as students, faculty and staff prepared for the birth of Jesus.Kinder students celebrated the Feast of St. Lucy on Monday, December 13. St. Lucy reminds us that we are called to let the light of our Christianity shine in our daily lives.
Third grade learned about Christmas celebrations around the world.
Fourth grade led a beautiful liturgy and told the story of the Nativity in our annual Christmas pageant.
16,609 diapers! The St. Teresa of Calcutta Society asked the St. Luke School Community to help us fill our stable. We were in awe of your generous response! Not only did you help us fill the stable, but diaper donations also filled most of the school office hallway. Students in all grade levels were able to participate in our Christmas community service project and experience what Mother Teresa lived, “It is not how much we give, but how much love we put into giving.”
Instead of exchanging Christmas gifts, 5th grade purchased books and donated them to our Kindergarten classes!
Students celebrated with their classmates. 1st grade and 8th grade buddies exchanged gifts.
Members of the Mother Teresa Society spread some Christmas cheer as they delivered handmade cards to the dedicated healthcare professionals at Methodist Hospital on December 21. Virtue of the Month
Congratulations to the following students for consistently demonstrating the virtue of Kindness during the month of November.
