Do you enjoy special events and activities that make St. Luke Catholic School a vibrant and fun community? Do you enjoy contributing your time and talent to enhance the St. Luke student and family experience? If so, we invite you to join the St. Luke PTC. We’re recruiting new members.
PTC is a dedicated school ministry with volunteers who organize school events and plan activities, including the annual Ice Cream social, Father/Daughter Dance, Mother/Son Liturgy and Luncheon, Denim and Diamonds and much more. PTC also plans fundraisers such as the Royal Fiesta Court. PTC raises funds to support students and provide resources and upgrades for the campus. In recent years, PTC has spearheaded the renovations of the blacktop and school library, upgraded campus water fountains, provided safety resources during the pandemic, and we’re just getting started! General Board Members - Volunteers at and/or organizes PTC events and activities as available.
Chaplain - Leads PTC meeting opening and closing prayers, offers guidance on spiritual matters as needed and plans PTC mass.
Used Uniform Committee members- Leads used uniform collection, organizes inventory of used uniform items and plans two uniform sales per year.
School Support Committee members- Plans teacher luncheons, organizes volunteers on picture day and supports 8th grade and Kindergarten graduations.
Welcome Committee members- Coordinates welcome activities and distribution of spirit items for new families.
Hospitality Committee members - Plans key campus events, including first day of school pastries for parents, Ice Cream Social, movie nights, Father/Daughter Dance, Mother/Son Liturgy and Luncheon and more.
FundraisingCommittee Members- Organizes student fundraising events and plans incentives for top fundraisers, including Catholic Life Raffle and Royal Fiesta Court.
Room Parent Coordinator - Oversees room parent program, plans two room parent meetings every year, guides room parent duties and communication.
MerchandisingCommittee members- Orders, organizes and sells spirit merchandise, including shirts, caps, bags and other items.
PTC Lunch Coordinator - Plans and orders PTC lunches once per month, monitors and distributes payments, coordinates volunteers to serve lunch.
Third grade Market Days – Third grade students developed a business and market plan; Rebel Bucks were used as currency.
