I wanted to cordially invite you to participate in our Fun Run which will be held at Mission Park on October 23, 2022. Please see more information below with a link to register. This Fun Run is sponsored by Hope for the Future and the money raised by our school will go directly back to our school and allow us to offer some financial support to families in need. We realize times are very hard right now, and we want to take every opportunity to ensure if a family is in a financial crisis, that we can offer some support to allow the children to remain in Catholic school education. We plan to have a booth there, so please, if you can make it to this Fun Run, please stop by the booth and say hello! Thank you in advance for your support. All students who register for the Fun Run will be allowed to wear a spirit shirt, jeans, and athletic shoes Monday, Oct. 24 as a fun incentive to register. Middle school students will also be awarded 2 service hours for registering and attending. We hope these incentives will up our participation.
I also want to say thank you to all who have generously donated to help offset the cost of our security guard. We are so appreciative of the generosity in our community. We have had several requests to keep the Cheddar up link open all year, so people can donate throughout the year. We will keep the link open all year and send out periodic reminders for those of you who wish to donate later. Please know that this is voluntary. We do not expect anyone to donate who is not in a place to donate. We are just grateful for what we get. Thank you again for your support in reaching out to the source when there is an issue. We are here to support our students and community. Our goal is to make sure that our students have the best experience possible at St. Luke. Does this mean everything will be perfect? Of course not, but most importantly, we are teaching our children how to advocate for themselves, conflict resolution, and humility.
Thank you! May the Holy Spirit continue to guide us to achieve success emulating our Lord, Jesus.

Come join our St Luke Family for the 16th Annual Run with a Mission on Sunday, October 23 at Mission County Park. Mass will begin at 7:45, and the run starts at 9. To register, follow the prompts on the link below. If you can’t attend in person, we encourage you to support our school virtually by registering your support at the link as well:
Follow the directions and click on St. Luke Catholic School in the drop-down menu.
Cost of registration is $15 per person, and the GREAT news is that every cent of that comes back to our school.
For even more fun, we’re offering several incentives. If you’re a middle school student, you can earn 2 service hours by simply signing up. Students in any grade who sign up for the Fun Run will be rewarded with Spirit Day dress on Monday, October 24. And, the homeroom that raises the MOST money will have a donut party on Friday, November 4.
So come have some fun with your St. Luke family and raise some money for our school as well! We hope to see you there!
“Let us lead by serving others.” Congratulations to the newly inducted members of the Thomas Aquinas National Junior Beta Club!
