On behalf of St. Luke Faculty and Staff, I would like to extend our sincerest thank you for all you do for us. Your support of our endeavors this year has been amazing to witness. Although the pandemic has hampered many of our dreams for this year, our hopes remain alive. I think I speak for all when I say this year has affirmed in many of us what is truly important in our lives. It is time to clean out the distractions and the things that don’t bring us joy. We can only find true Joy through God, so I think we are in the right place to experience that!
We are grateful for the gift of your children. We love them and want the very best for each one of our students. We find our joy being with them every day, and even more joy, because we have God among us. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your child’s life.
We are also grateful for our parents. Your sacrifice to send your children to Catholic Schools is understood and appreciated. Together we can continue to give our children the best in faith, work ethic, and a strong foundation in their education. Thank you for your continued support.

I am grateful that our St. Luke community came together during this time and made a great plan to get the children back to school (virtually or in person) safely. I am very, very grateful for the faculty and staff and the love they give to each of our kids on a daily basis even if it’s over Zoom or Google Meets. They are all rooting for our kids to succeed. I am grateful that many of our parents jump to help our own needy families. I love that we are connected by our faith and our love to serve the way Jesus taught us. I truly love that our children are learning that same love of service at St. Luke. Gabriela Rodriguez, PTC

I just wanted to say THANK YOU to you and your staff for doing an incredible job during this whole pandemic. I highly applaud each and every one of you for doing the job you are doing. A couple of days ago I was talking to one of my friends whose child goes to school in Schertz. Well, she mentioned to me how the school is handling online learning and I was in complete shock. She mentioned to me how she is unable to reach her child's teacher to get help on assignments. The teacher had previously responded earlier in the year that "she simply didn't have time during the day to answer questions from online students because her main focus was on those in the classroom." I then went on to show my friend a copy of **my child’s**class schedule and she was amazed at how well structured it was. Again, I just wanted to reach out and say Thank You because it was an eye opener hearing about my friend's experience with the school system. It showed me how grateful I am to be able to send my children to St. Luke. from a St. Luke parent

LUKE’S GOT TALENT: FACEBOOK LIVE FUNDRAISER FOR THE KIDS AT ST. PJ’S
In order to allow more students and families to participate, we are opening up auditions to virtual entries. Your individual or group act can be pre-recorded at home, and still be broadcast on our Facebook Live Talent Show. That way a family can perform as a group and still be included in our show. Does your family sing, or act, or yodel? You need to send in a tryout video to [email protected] by Monday, November 30. You could even wear your matching, super-cute Christmas PJ’s!
Please help the Mother Teresa Society raise needed funds for the kids at St. PJ’s and join in our Facebook Live Talent Show to be broadcast on Wednesday, December 9 from 7-8 PM. You’ll be great! AN UPDATE FROM PTC Thank you to everyone who took the recent survey asking what area of our school we should focus on for upcoming fundraising initiatives. As we say at St. Luke, we are stronger together, especially when it comes to making big decisions, like how we can best use PTC dollars. After gathering your input, one choice stood out.
We are pleased to announce much of our fundraising efforts will be geared toward improving the St. Luke Catholic School Library. The library is a crucial resource for all of our students at every grade level, and it’s a weekly experience they all enjoy. We will be working closely with Mrs. Buhrman and Mrs. Chavez to determine how we can update the library. The best part is, while the bulk of funds will go toward library enhancements, we will still contribute to our other specials classes as needed.
When you support PTC events and fundraisers, such as the Catholic Life raffle ticket sale happening now, you are contributing to worthwhile projects that improve our school and create a fun learning environment for our children. Thank you for your ongoing generosity and enthusiasm. Look out for updates throughout the year as we reach our fundraising goals and make big plans for library improvements.
