I would like to take this moment to inform you of some changes coming in the future, please read the entire letter. I always appreciate feedback, so please read the following information, and feel free to share your thoughts with me at nadine.buhrman@stlukecatholic.org.
We will have a new vendor for our uniforms for the new school year, 2022-2023. We have signed on with Dennis Uniform. They have excellent customer service, so we are confident they will serve our community with care and kindness. They are located on Isom Road, over by North Star Mall. We would also like to inform you of several changes affecting the girl’s uniform. We will have girls in grades 2nd-8th have the option to wear green polos with the plaid skirt. On Wednesdays and dressy occasions, the girls will wear their white midi blouse with the grade appropriate tie. There are also several options for plaid skirts next year, including a skirt with built in shorts. For all students, there will be more options for outerwear and sweatshirts will be available with crewneck, or a partial zipper option. As of right now, the deep hunter green color for sweatshirts is unavailable for future orders, due to limited resources to make that color by the material vendor. We were informed this should be resolved in the next few years. We will have to do a shade lighter, which is still a dark green, but not the rich deep shade. Boys’ uniforms will remain the same. School Yard still has uniforms in stock for us, and they have moved their location to 12300 W. IH 10 Bldg. 4. Thank you so much for your continued support. The past few years have presented many challenges, but they have also presented many opportunities for learning and growth. We will continue to strive to offer the best spiritual and educational experience for our children and families. Just a reminder that I truly welcome and appreciate your feedback and thoughts. We will have an official survey go out in early December. I invite all of you to take this survey and share the positives, as well as recommendations on how we can improve. Together, we can continue to build our community into the happiest school in San Antonio.
