The St. Luke Community is partnering with Catholic Relief Services to raise money to help the people of Ukraine. We are collecting money on a Cheddar Up site. Monies raised will be sent to Catholic Relief Services.
All the students in our school have painted sunflowers (the national flower of Ukraine), and those sunflowers will be given to anyone who makes a $5 donation. Paintings will be sent home with students you select at checkout. Please help us help the people of Ukraine! Please share this information with family and friends. The collection will end on April 4.

40 Cans for Lent
The Mother Teresa Society is once again sponsoring the 40 Cans for Lent contest that will benefit Catholic Charities. Last year we collected what seemed like millions of cans, and we want to collect even more this year!
The can drive will end on Tuesday, April 12. Prizes will be given to the winning HOMEROOM in each category: PK, K and 1st grade; 2nd-5th grade, and MS.
Pre K, Kinder, or first grade wins a cookie decorating party.
Second grade through fifth grade wins an Easter Egg Hunt.
Middle school wins recess during fifth period and raspas.
Thanks very much for supporting our can drive!
After much preparation, our Spelling Bee Champion, 7th grader Andrea Abejuela, represented our school at the Regional Spelling Bee in New Braunfels. About 150 school champions including veteran spellers and a previous winner from all over Central Texas participated. We are very proud of Andrea for taking the challenge and for showing Central Texas how disciplined, academically supported, and versatile the “Rebels” are. Congratulations Andrea!
