Dear St. Luke Community, As we approach the end of this transformational year, I would first like to extend my deepest gratitude for all the support you all have given us. We could not have flourished the past few years without the strong sense of togetherness that we have created in our community. I am so impressed with the group effort to rebuild with so much love and care. This is what defines us as we continue in our journey together. Next year is another opportunity to continue to grow stronger together. Academically, we plan to continue to work with reading and writing in our school. We are also happy to announce that we will be adopting a more rigorous math textbook to meet the growing needs of all learners. Our new program is designed to offer more fluency practice, expand on math literacy, and enhance critical thinking in math. We will continue to maintain our enforcement of policies regarding student expectations. We know the most important thing we can do for the development of our students is to maintain clear and fair expectations. The consistency and enforcement of rules provides a safe and predictable environment for our students to understand how to navigate the world. We will have in-person information sessions before school starts, to provide a platform to relay the St. Luke expectations and rules for each level. We will have the save- the -dates out soon, so please plan to attend these sessions. We are in the process of making some necessary improvements to portions of our facilities, including new toilets and sinks, internet infrastructure, and replacing some of the air conditioners. Please keep us in your prayers as costs are high and resources are low.
Thank you once again for your prayers, love, and support. It has been an amazing year of ups and downs, but when the dust settles, there is always love.
