Congratulations and many blessings to our students who celebrated their First Holy Communion on Saturday, May 6. Many thanks to parents, Fr. Joel, pastor, Fr. Jorge, parochial vicar, Br. Helmer, our second-grade teachers, Ms. Amanda Rodriguez, Mrs. Maria Smith, and all who helped our students prepare for this step in their faith journey.
Catholic Leadership Awards
Congratulations to Mrs. Michelle Morales, first grade teacher,(2nd from left) who was recognized as St. Luke’s Educator of the Year at the Archdiocese of San Antonio Department of Catholic Schools Catholic Schools Leadership Awards banquet held on Friday, May 5.
Mr. John Garza, former St. Luke parent, was recognized as an Outstanding Leader in Catholic Education for his volunteer service to Catholic schools and parishes, including St. Luke School and St. John Paul II Catholic High School. Mr. Garza has shared his technology expertise from the early years of our technology program and has given countless hours of service to our school keeping our students, staff, and parish up to date with technology and security upgrades. Congratulations and thank you, Mr. Garza!
Field Day 2023
The weather cooperated and our students enjoyed a fantastic field day! Our thanks to everyone who helped to plan and run field day activities for the students. We could not have done it without you!

May Crowning
Our 8th grade students led this week’s beautiful May Crowning Mass as the school community honored Our Blessed Mother.
Fiesta Royal Court
Many thanks to all who participated and lent their support to our Fiesta Royal Court Fundraiser. The monies raised will be used in our continuing efforts to keep our classrooms modern and upgraded.
